In 2016, I dipped my toes into motion graphics, drawing inspiration from Obama’s uplifting victory speech during the 2012 presidential elections. At the time, my knowledge of After Effects was basic. Four years later, I’ve decided to revisit and improve the project. You’ll find the original version included below for comparison.

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

PREVIOUS VERSION

This project showcased the advancements I’ve made over years of learning and practice. One noticeable improvement is in the timing of the animations. Initially, I lacked deep knowledge of manipulating keyframes using the graph editor.

Reflecting on the original video, I recognized that the choice of vectors didn’t effectively communicate the message, especially in the first half. For the updated version, I chose to incorporate more photo-realistic elements, aiming for a stronger visual impact.
